Montdorensis

Transeius montdorensis are small (<1mm), pale, pear shaped mites that are used internationally as very effective biocontrol agent in various crops, feeding on the eggs and juvenile stages of thrips and whitefly.

Citrus, grapes, dates, blueberries, strawberries, cannabis, macadamias, avocado, flowers & various vegetable crops.

  • Western flower thrips (Frankliniella occidentalis)
  • Citrus thrips (Scirtothrips aurantii)
  • Onion thrips (Thrips tabaci)
  • Eastern flower thrips (Frankliniella triciti)
  • Greenhouse whitefly (Trialeurodes vaporariorum)
  • Silverleaf whitefly (Bemisia tabaci)
